Acrylic painting for beginners series to start May 7

Rehoboth Art League will host guest instructor Jan Crooker for a five-week course focusing on the foundations of acrylic painting, with sessions from 6 to 9 p.m., Tuesdays, May 7 to June 4, at 12 Dodds Lane, Henlopen Acres.

Participants will learn fundamentals including stroke, composition, layout, value, notan and color analysis. The course is appropriate for students at a beginner skill level, ages 16 years and older. Cost is $185 for members and $215 for nonmembers.
