Rehoboth Concert Band to play in Milton Park May 4

May 1, 2024

Rehoboth Concert Band and the City of Milton will present a free show at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 4, at Milton Memorial Park, 113 Union St., Milton.

Crowd-pleasers will include “An American Spectacular” by Chris Sharp; a medley of John Williams’ “Star Wars” themes; a saucy LeRoy Anderson number called “Blue Tango”; and a musical tribute to the armed forces and others who serve this country.

The band was established in 2012 by founding music director Sharon Still. Now under the direction of Steven Kieley, the group consists of 60 instrumentalists ranging from professional musicians and music educators to dedicated hobbyist adult players and exceptionally talented students, from teens to octogenarians and everything in between.

Attendees can kick off summer fun with a toe-tapping, flag-waving, family-friendly outdoor concert. Bringing blankets or chairs to sit on is advised. For more information, go to rehobothconcertband.org.
