Cape athletes sign letters of intent to play a college sport

Fourteen Cape athletes supported by family and friends signed letters of intent May 8 to continue playing their chosen sport in college. 

Boys’ volleyball had three signees, including Talan Stephans (Webber University), Jaycean White (Hood College) and Blake Catts (Hood College).

Jay’Lyn Slater signed with Delaware State for softball.  

Boys’ soccer had two signings, including Collin Sivels (Cecil College) and Angel Arano (Cecil College).

Cadence McMahon, representing the girls’ soccer program, signed with Wilson College. 

Bailey Fletcher signed with Ohio State for track and field, while Sean Powers signed with Salisbury University for track and field.

Reed Thompson signed with Goldey Beacon for baseball, while teammate Ethan Carney signed with Anne Arundel Community College.  

Football had three signees, including Brenn Scott (West Chester University), Wilson Ingerski (Shippensburg University) and Gus Musika (U.S. Merchant Marine Academy).
