Citizen crew cleans up after visitors leave beach trash

After clearing about a three-block area of beach, the pair left the full trash bags for city crews to pick up.
Kevin Todd and Glenn Lash were in Rehoboth Beach April 16 to get some treats from Kohr Brothers, and they noticed a significant amount of trash strewn along the sands.
Instead of ignoring it, they asked for some trash bags from the Kohr Bros. workers, and Cierra Vega and Brianna Fusco handed over four contractor-size sacks.
“When we walked to the Boardwalk, we just couldn't let this go,” said Lash. “We filled up three bags, as the trash extended for three blocks. We stopped around 8:15 p.m. because it was too dark to see any farther.”
