Dewey Arts and Fun Festival slated May 11

May 3, 2024

The 2024 Dewey Arts and Fun Festival will bring lots of art-focused fun for the whole family from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, May 11, at the Rusty Rudder circle, 113 Dickinson Ave., Dewey Beach. The event is free, and so is the parking. There is no rain date.

Kelly Ranieri, Dewey Business Partnership executive director, said, “We have gathered an astounding 47 local artists and vendors for the event this year. It’s a great place to come out and shop for Mother’s Day, as well as to support local artistry.”

The variety of handcrafted wares will include beaded and painted jewelry, and some semiprecious stone pieces; stained glass artwork; sun catchers; wind chimes; watercolor and oil paintings; photography; ceramics; handmade soaps; home décor; and handcrafted dog collars.

Adding to the vibe, there will be make-and-take art activities for children, and Mark Luckenbill providing live music.
