Beacon Middle School art contest winners announced

The Rehoboth branch of County Bank displayed outstanding artwork from students attending Beacon Middle School over the winter. Over 130 bank patrons voted for their favorite artwork. At an open house, parents and community members were able to view the student artwork, and Jay Pastore, Rehoboth Beach Art League artistic director, reviewed the art and selected winners.

The art league winners were eighth-graders Gwena Wiegmann and Will Kelleher, sixth-grader Nolan Hilton, and seventh-grader Pat Brockway. Each received a free membership to the Rehoboth Art League for a year.

Patrons' choice winners were sixth-grader Alyssa Fleming, seventh-grader Samara Weathersby, and eighth-graders Angelica Kusen and Gwena Wiegmann. Each received a $50 gift card from County Bank.
