Springpoint Senior Living, a New Jersey-based nonprofit provider of housing and services for seniors, recently announced that Cadbury Senior Lifestyles has agreed to become an affiliate of Springpoint Senior Living.
Springpoint is expected to assume management and oversight of the continuing care retirement community in Lewes and the Cadbury Senior Lifestyles at Home program in May, subject to regulatory approvals.
“This affiliation marks a historic milestone for Springpoint, as we extend our service area beyond the bounds of New Jersey and expand our portfolio to include an innovative program known as CCRC Without Walls,” said Anthony Argondizza, president of Springpoint Senior Living. “We are confident that adding Cadbury Senior Lifestyles to our family and expanding our geographic reach will position us for continued success in the future.”
Based in Cherry Hill, N.J., Cadbury Senior Lifestyles is a nonprofit organization that currently operates a continuing care retirement community in Lewes, offering 130 independent living apartments and cottages, 45 assisted living and 40 skilled nursing beds. Cadbury also offers Cadbury Senior Lifestyles at Home, an award-winning CCRC Without Walls membership program that provides personalized care management and in-home services that allow seniors to stay in their homes. In all, Cadbury has nearly 200 employees and 447 residents and clients who will become part of the Springpoint family.
“Being part of a multisite organization provides resources, support and innovative programs that are becoming more difficult for smaller organizations to fund and manage,” said Victor D. Amey, president and CEO of Cadbury Senior Lifestyles. “Springpoint has an impressive track record of successful affiliations and a strong commitment to excellence. Their mission and culture are most compatible with ours, making them uniquely qualified to ensure the continued success of Cadbury.”
This affiliation is consistent with Springpoint’s key strategic initiative to pursue smart growth opportunities, allowing Springpoint to expand and meet the changing needs of seniors and their families. Springpoint currently operates seven continuing care retirement communities, 19 affordable housing communities and a homecare division in New Jersey. Springpoint Senior Living represents 26 communities in New Jersey and serves nearly 4,000 senior residents and more than 2,000 employees.
