Cape senior wins statewide drug prevention poster contest
June 2, 2025
Cape Henlopen High School senior Carrie Reed recently won the drug prevention poster contest coordinated by the Delaware Division of Prevention and Behavioral Health Services.
Reed has taken many art classes at Cape High. She entered the contest on her own after she saw a poster advertising the competition outside the health classroom.
She was awarded a speaker system (a prize she selected), a T-shirt and three copies of her winning poster, along with a framed certificate. Reed’s award-winning artwork will be displayed in several public schools across Delaware, including Cape Henlopen High School. It was also displayed at the THC Prevention Conference held in April.
