Charles F. Scott, loved fishing
Charles Fandanas Scott, 46, of Ellendale, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at 12:07 p.m., at Christiana Hospital in Newark. He was lovingly known by family and friends as "Chucky."
Charles was born to Bertha Washington and Charlie Scott Friday, Nov. 20, 1970, in Milford. Charles lived in Delaware his whole life, in Ellendale. He was also raised by Ms. Corrine Person of Milton, whom he adored, after his mother's passing. He had a stepbrother, Kenneth Person, and a stepsister-in-law, Linda Doughty. Charles attended Cape Henlopen High School in Lewes, where he graduated in 1988.
Charles grew up with his brothers Robert Scott, Alonzo Scott, and Levern Demery, and sisters Shirley Demery, Wonda Demery Clay, and Geneva Demery Plummer, whom he loved very much.
Charles’ hobbies included fishing, which he absolutely loved; it was peaceful and relaxing to him, and he really enjoyed it. He loved his hip hop and riding; he loved going places listening to his hip hop music. He really enjoyed spending time with Joann Fulmore of Milton; she was his oldest and most cherished friend, a bond never broken.
Charles married the love of his life, Akisha Cash, April 12, 2006, at the Justice of the Peace Court in Georgetown. They were married 11 beautiful years; they adored each other, and they were very close. In that union they had a beautiful daughter, Jorden Scott. He had four other beautiful children before he was married, Desirae Hammel, Devyn Scott, Justin Scott, and Charles Scott Jr., and they all were the light of his life. He loved spending time with them and showing them new things any chance that he could.
