Collick, Maull win Cape school board elections

The unofficial results of the May 13, 2025 Cape school board elections are in, with Bill Collick winning the at-large seat and Patty Maull winning the District C seat.

Collick, the at-large incumbent, beat Chris Lovenguth, while Maull beat Laura Parsons and Andy Lewis.

The unofficial results are as follows: 3,208 votes for Collick versus 830 for Lovenguth, and 2,011 votes for Maull versus 1,458 for Parsons and 575 for Lewis. 

A total of 4,170 votes were tabulated both for the at-large contest and the District C contest.

In the at-large contest, there were 132 undervotes, which occur when a voter either makes fewer than the maximum number of choices allowed in an election or makes no choice in a single-choice election. There were 126 undervotes in the District C contest.

Official tabulation numbers are expected be released later in the night May 13 or the morning of Wednesday, May 14.
