The Marine Education, Research and Rehabilitation Institute Inc. will host its annual sunset dolphin tours with Cape Water Tours aboard its Second Nature boat at 7 p.m., Sunday, June 29, and 6:30 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 10, departing from the Cape May-Lewes Ferry terminal. Boarding begins 30 minutes prior to departure.
As the vessel heads to the Harbor of Refuge in search of dolphins and other wildlife, viewing and photo opportunities abound, so passengers are encouraged to bring binoculars and cameras.
Ticket cost is $65, which helps support stranding response and rescue of marine mammals and sea turtles. Caring for these animals includes veterinary treatment, food, transportation and supplies.
