Jesse Garron kicks off Summer Elvis Tour in Rehoboth July 9

July 6, 2016

Tribute artist Jesse Garron will go back to where it all began on the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand at 8 p.m., Saturday, July 9. Former bandstand director Ruth Hayes had already booked the season when Garron approached her for a spot back in 1998. "She didn't have any budget left but gave me a date anyway," says Garron. "She was a great lady and really believed in me. It's been history ever since." Garron's Tribute to Elvis has has been a part of Rehoboth's Summer Concerts every year since. The act has grown to include a live band and backup singers performing to packed houses in venues nationwide.

Garron's is not the only Elvis act out there but is a consistent favorite and successful draw commanding capacity crowds. "We hear from fans all the time about the many acts that either look like Elvis or sing like him, but not many can do both effectively," says Manager Julie Malewski. "Jesse offers the whole package. Audiences can't believe the likeness and the feeling that they're actually watching a 1970s Elvis concert."

Garron's stage presence, powerful vocals and authentic costuming coupled with the band's note-for-note authenticity offers a Broadway-quality show that is considered a leader among tribute acts. The group recently recorded a CD live in Philadelphia at Studio 4 and Sine Studios with two of the best producers in the business, Obie O'Brien and Phil Nicolo. The CDs will be for sale at the meet and greet after the concert. For more information, go to www.jessegarron.com.
