Lewes Lions welcome district governor
The Lewes Lions Club hosted Gail Krebs, district governor of the Delaware Lions, at its November meeting.
Krebs reviewed her long service history with the Lions and outlined her goals for the coming year, saying she would like to see each club add at least two members. Krebs said she will also focus on hunger and vision as her priority service goals. The Lewes Lions presented a donation check to the state organization.
Awards recognizing years of service were announced for David Brittingham, 70 years; Tom Engel, 35 years; Monroe Brittingham, 20 years; Virginia Craig, 15 years; Thomas Engel Jr., 10 years; and Michele Jessup, 10 years.
Also receiving an award was Rachel Hartman, membership chair, for recruiting two new Lewes Lions Club members.
