Acres’ CDP going before PLUS May 28

The state’s Preliminary Land Use Service will review Henlopen Acres’ 2024 Comprehensive Development Plan during a meeting Wednesday, May 28. 

The meeting begins at 9 a.m., and the review is scheduled to take place at 10:45 a.m., but it’s the last item on the agenda. 

The meeting will be conducted in Room 133, Haslet Armory, 122 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. South, Dover. It is also available to watch online at publicmeetings.delaware.gov.

Lewes BPW to meet May 28

The Lewes Board of Public Works will hold its regular monthly meeting at 4 p.m., Wednesday, May 28, at city hall.

The agenda includes an update and discussion on the wastewater treatment plant long-range plan.

Rehoboth planners to meet May 30

The Rehoboth Beach Planning Commission will meet at 1:30 p.m., Friday, May 30, at city hall, 229 Rehoboth Ave. The agenda includes a continuation of the site-plan review of Coast Hotel, a public hearing on the minor subdivision of 104 Scarborough Ave., and a preliminary review of new plans for the proposed Belhaven Hotel at 2 Rehoboth Ave.

NARFE meeting reservations due June 5

NARFE Coastal Sussex Chapter 1690 will meet Thursday, June 12, at 1776 Steakhouse in Midway Plaza, Rehoboth Beach. Scheduled to speak is Charles Garrod, a Korean War veteran from Milford. Reservations must be made by Thursday, June 5, via email to luncheon@narfe-de.org. Payment is due upon arrival by cash or check made out to NARFE Chapter 1690.
