With a mission-driven approach focused on empowering women, fostering community education and delivering personalized care.Triumph Pelvic Health is making waves in the active Cape Region.

Founded by pelvic health occupational therapist Logan Shuttleworth, Triumph Pelvic Health stands as a beacon of hope and support for those seeking individualized solutions to pelvic health issues such as bladder leakage, overactive bladder, constipation, pain with intercourse, hip/back pain and prolapse.

“Many people come to an evaluation with me thinking pelvic floor therapy is just to teach them how to do ‘kegels,’ but they leave that first visit shocked after learning that pelvic floor function has a lot to do with breath coordination, mind-body connection and habits throughout our daily lives,” said Shuttleworth. “Core stability, pelvic floor range of motion, hip mobility, where we hold tension, how our feet interact with the ground, our breathing patterns, and how we choose to listen to our bodies have just as much of an impact on pelvic floor function as strength.”

In recognition of Mother's Day and celebrating the launch of Triumph Pelvic Health, women are invited to take advantage of free 30-minute consultations Monday and Tuesday, May 13 and 14, in the new Rehoboth Beach clinic located in the Medical Arts Building off Route 24. Doors will officially open for new evaluations Wednesday, May 15.

To secure a spot for a Mother's Day special consultation or for a full 60-minute initial evaluation, go to triumphpelvichealth.com or call 302-313-6121.

As owner of Triumph Pelvic Health, Shuttleworth believes in encouraging women to regain control over their lives, allowing them to participate in all activities that bring them joy. Whether it's engaging in high-impact exercise, mastering the trampoline park, enjoying intimacy with a partner, or simply going out for dinner with friends without the worry of wearing a pad, Triumph Pelvic Health is dedicated to helping women achieve their goals and live life to the fullest.

"My passion for pelvic health and commitment to our community are at the heart of Triumph Pelvic Health," said Shuttleworth. "Most women think that just because they have had kids or because they are a certain age, they have to accept leaky laughs, low-impact exercise and discomfort with intimacy as their fate. Women of any age can choose to start living life without these limitations. It’s more than an inconvenience; it's your quality of life.”

As an occupational therapist, Shuttleworth brings a distinctive blend of expertise in biomechanical, social-emotional and trauma-informed approaches into each session. Her mission is to provide women with the resources and support they need, expanding beyond just physical rehabilitation to help them live their best lives. Shuttleworth said she recognizes the importance of mental health, psychosocial factors and environmental influences in the healing process. Each woman is treated as an individual, not just a set of symptoms, with care plans tailored to address her unique needs and goals.

"Whether you're spending your day playing with your kiddos, standing on your feet all day at work, gardening in your backyard, or strolling the golf course, we can help you incorporate healthy habits and movement patterns into your routine, ensuring lasting results,” said Shuttleworth. “At Triumph Pelvic Health, you are more than a set of symptoms and measurements. We see all of you, and we are here to support you on your journey with fun, creative and meaningful interventions that promote lifelong pelvic health."
