The VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic sits at the corner of Route 113 and Route 404.
Sen. Tom Carper was the keynote speaker at the event. In his address he said, “We can say to our veterans, ‘Thank you for your service,’ but we have put our money - your money - where our mouth is, to make sure that they can feel proud and welcomed and cared for.”
Vietnam veteran Sgt. Frank Bolen spoke at the ceremony. He said, “Inside this building they have given us the finest doctors, specialists, nurses and support staff around. It is ours for the asking. My hope is that every veteran from every war walks through these doors and receives the help they need. You earned it.”

Inside is a state-of-the-art outpatient clinic. The doctors and their staff are broken into five groups and work as a team.
The Veterans Administration Outpatient Clinic cut the ribbon at its new facility at 21748 College Park Lane in Georgetown. The ceremony was attended by national, state and local officials along with veterans and community members. The clinic serves 3,700 veterans.
