Weather forces cancellations in Cape Region
The weekend’s wintry weather has resulted in the following cancellations/postponements:
• Cape Henlopen School District is operating on a two-hour delay today
• Indian River School District is operating on a two-hour delay today
• Sussex Tech will be closed today. The school board meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 16.
• The Sussex Academy of Arts and Sciences will be closed today
• Funeral services for Marshall Baker, scheduled for Jan. 13 have been rescheduled for Thursday, Jan. 17, at Short Funeral Services in Georgetown with visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and funeral at 1 p.m.
• A multi-estate auction at Emmert Auction, 20673 Coastal Highway, has been rescheduled for 9 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 20.
