I read with interest Chris Flood’s column regarding the Rehoboth Beach firehouse osprey nest: “Thanks for the free decor.” All kidding aside, just why is the cone there? The fire alarm is no longer in use. I have asked, in passing, several firefighters. They all say they don’t know. The ospreys have managed to rebuild, but it seems rather cruel that they had to do so around a cone.
