Not so long ago I didn't have a clue about the amazing benefits of meat and dairy-free plant-based eating! It took a heart attack to wake me up and the inspiring film FORKS OVER KNIVES to set me on a new path. Now I introduce others to the extraordinary impact of food choice on personal, animal and environmental health. It's fun, it's rewarding and it's deeply moving to be with others as they restore health and hope.
What a journey it's been--from sickness to health, from fat to fit, from carnivore to herbivore, from comfortably unaware to wide awake. The classes I create range from 4hr crash course to 10 week exploration of the impact of food choice. Currently I am having a great time teaching 2 courses in Plant-Based eating--one in Lewes at The Osher Institute of Lifelong Learning of The University of Delaware and the other at the Lewes Public Library. Together the classes total over 50 people! That’s a lot of folks considering dietary change! What a wonderful way to ensure everyone's a winner!
