Andrea Cisneros promoted at First State Manufacturing

April 27, 2016

First State Manufacturing announced that Andrea Cisneros has been promoted to the position of assistant manager of materials and supply chain coordinator. “Cisneros came to us via our production floor,” said President and CEO Dave Hitchens.

“She started with us four years ago in Quality Control and has made an increasingly valued contribution to our team with each passing year, moving into our marketing department three years ago where she has excelled.

“Andrea has been instrumental to process development with an eye for detail that we value,” Hitchens said. “We believe in mentoring and investing in our employees, and she is evidence of that philosophy.”

Growing from a one-car garage in 1997 to a 75,000-square-foot facility, First State Manufacturing is one of the most successful manufacturers of its size in the nation. Providing quality upholstery and cut-and-sew services to the U.S. military, municipalities and a broad array of commercial customers, First State Manufacturing has earned its reputation for providing solutions that solve the challenges its customers face, while continuing to grow manufacturing jobs in Delaware.
