The Ocean City Lacrosse Classic brings out the best lacrosse talent in the world from college players to all-star pro players. And this year didn't disappoint the fans as checks, shots and scores were the order of the weekend at the Northside Park Athletic Complex.
Behind the long-pole play of Kyle Hartzell of the Ohio Machine and scores by Salisbury All-American Sam Bradman, the local Jack Lingo Lacrosse Club finished the O.C. Lacrosse Classic Tournament 3-1, just missing semifinal action in the pool play. Lingo dropped a heartbreaking 11-4 loss to the Baltimore Crabs in opening-day action.
The all-star-packed Roughriders defeated the Team UR Sports 6-4 to take O.C. Classic bragging rights for the top team for another year.
