Frank Runyeon to perform 'The 3½ Stories of Christmas' Dec. 14
Nationally known performer of biblical texts Frank Runyeon will return to St. Edmond Church in Rehoboth Beach at 7 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 14. Runyeon will perform “The 3½ Stories of Christmas.” The program is brought to the entire community by the Star of the Sea Council 7297, Knights of Columbus, in celebration of the Diamond Jubilee of St. Edmond Roman Catholic Church.
Children and adults will be delighted as all the parts of the Christmas story are tied together for the first time through the eyes of an angel-in-training, starting with the story of how light came into the world, to the manger in Bethlehem, the origin of St. Nicholas and the secret of the Christmas Angel.
This one-time presentation is for families of all denominations; it's free to all with open seating.
Runyeon has received national acclaim for his work as a translator and performer of biblical texts over the past 17 years. He has performed the Gospels for hundreds of thousands of people in every state in America.
Runyeon is probably best known for his many roles on television including the role of Steve Andropoulos on “As the World Turns.” He appeared in recurring roles on “General Hospital,” “Falcon Crest,” “Another World, ““Melrose Place” and “LA Law.” He starred in the feature film “Sudden Death” as detective Marty Lowery.
Runyeon is a graduate of Princeton University with a degree in religion. He studied at Fuller Seminary and Yale Divinity School before receiving his master’s from General Theological Seminary. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife Annie and their three angels…Anna, Frankie and Rob.
