Braille Blues Daddy Bryan Lee and the Blues Power Band takes the Maker’s Mark Stage at Bethany Blues-Lewes at 9 p.m., Friday Sept. 3. Part of the Sydney’s Music Revival, Lee’s smoking Chicago blues guitar, cool tenor, soulful style and feeling prompted Eric Clapton to describe him as one of the best bluesmen he had ever heard. Lee says his guitar and the blues became the center of his life after losing his eyesight at the age of eight. Having garnered international rave reviews, accolades from Jazz Times and Blues on Stage, and fans that include the likes of the great Muddy Waters, Bryan Lee’s performance is powered into super drive by New Orleans drummer John Perkins and Texas-born contemporary blues bassist Brent Johnson.
