Now making waves in its seventh year, the annual Marine Education, Research and Rehabilitation Institute ‘Fin-raiser’ is ready to make a splash Saturday, Nov. 21, at the Lewes Yacht Club on Cedar Avenue on Lewes Beach.
Items available at the live and silent auctions include charter boat rides, a book signed by U.S. Sen. Ted Kaufman, rounds of golf, artwork, massage packages and gift certificates to many local stores and restaurants.
The live auction is just one highlight of the event, which will also be marked by live music from local musician Melissa Alesi and band 33 1/3, as well as heavy hors d’oeuvres and wine tastings from Teller Wines.
The event will begin at 6 p.m. and limited tickets are still available for $35 at the door.
All are invited to attend this evening of music, food and fun to benefit the nonprofit institute and the numerous marine mammals and turtles it helps to rescue every year.
