The nonprofit Rehoboth Beach Theatre of the Arts recently announced the winning plays of its One-Act Play Festival that took place Feb. 26 and 27.

The first-place winner was “Last Train To George,” an original work written by Delaware playwright Matt Casarino, featuring actresses Audrey Fisher Killen of Frankford and Jenn Stutzman of Milford. The second-place winner was “Monkey Rhythms” by John Baldi, featuring actors George Spillane, Tom Sweeny and Isaiah Dadzie of Lewes.

The first- and second-place winners will compete in the 68th annual Delaware Theatre Association’s competition scheduled for Saturday, March 27, at the Everett Theatre in Middletown.

Ticket prices are $15 for an adult all-day pass, $12 for senior and student all-day pass, and $10 for one session.
