Beebe Healthcare is hosting a Spring Wellness Open House at the Specialty Surgical Hospital on Saturday, April 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The day includes a meet and greet, tours through the hospital, as well as skin cancer and wellness screenings, Narcan training, and a simulation of Beebe's latest technology – the ION™ Endoluminal, which used for robot-assisted bronchoscopy to detect and remove lung cancer. From 11:30 a.m. to noon meet and greet Laura Tolson, MSN, AG-ACNP, Executive Director of Surgical Services and Administrator of the Specialty Surgical Hospital; Maurice Winkfield, Executive Director, Oncology Services; and Plastic Surgeon DaKota Urban, MD. Tours throughout the hospital begin at 11:30 a.m. and run every half hour. Please sign up for a time slot here. Specialists from the hospital will guide participants through the three floors of the Specialty Surgical Hospital. Skin cancer screenings, blood pressure, glucose, total cholesterol, as well as Deterra (Safe Medication Disposal), and Narcan training will be offered on a first come, first served basis throughout the event.
