INGREDIENTS:
- 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
- 1/2 pound andouille sausage, casings removed
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup plain bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 1/2 tablespoon Slap Ya Mama Cajun Seasoning Original Blend
- 2/3 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 2 1/2 tablespoons Slap Ya Mama Cajun Hot Sauce
DIRECTIONS:
- Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, mix the first 10 ingredients well. Press mixture in ungreased 8x4-inch loaf pan. Bake 45 minutes.
- Remove from oven. Mix together 1/4 cup ketchup and 2 tablespoons Slap Ya Mama Cajun Hot Sauce and spread evenly over top. Bake an additional 20 to 25 minutes or until meat thermometer inserted in center of loaf reads 160°F. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
