Events this Weekend in Delaware and Maryland
You know we're getting closer to the spring season when the events and activities calendars start filling up with fun things to see and do throughout the region.
We're witnessing that this weekend as the calendar finally turns to March at and near the Delaware and Maryland beaches.
We've got some fun and interesting things to tell you about this week in Delaware and Maryland and even just across the state line in southeastern Pennsylvania.
So whether it's celebrating the First State, gorging on great films in Ocean City, visiting the historic sites in downtown Dover or something else entirely, it should be a fun early March weekend in the region.

302 Day Celebration (March 4)
Celebrate all things Delaware this Saturday, March 4, as the 302 Day celebration returns to the Dogfish Head Brewery in Milton's Cannery Village.
All sorts of Delaware-themed fun is planned for the day, including lawn games, live music, 302 themed merchandise, local libations and plenty of food.
This fun event is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Saturday March 4, in Milton.

Spring Craft and Hobby Show (March 4)
The CHEER Center in Georgetown is holding its 2023 Spring Craft and Hobby Show this Saturday, March 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Vendors will be on-site in areas that include books, woodworking, toys, baseball cards, antiques, jewelry, memorabilia and many others.
Come hungry and enjoy a special lunch prepared by the folks at CHEER. Food options include chicken salad sandwiches, different kinds of soup and various beverages.

Ocean City Film Festival (March 2-5)
The Ocean City Film Festival (OCFF) returns for 2023 and is a collaboration between the OCFF and the Art League of Ocean City.
More than 50 films are planned for this year and will be shown over four days at several different locations, including Fox Gold Coast, Flagship Cinemas, the Ocean City Center for the Arts, Ocean Downs Casino, Seacrets and others.
The 7th annual event opens with a special event at the Ocean City Performing Arts Center on Thursday night at 7 p.m., which includes a double feature of films followed by a filmmaker discussion and then an after party at Seacrets from 9 to 11 p.m.
