Events This Weekend in Delaware and Maryland
Spring is in the air throughout the region this weekend as more and more outdoor events are beginning to pop up on the weekly events calendars.
From our home base of Lewes to several more towns and municipalities in the area, it should be a fun-filled weekend at and near the Delaware and Maryland beaches.

Lewes Tulip Celebration (April 1-16)
This 14th annual event is jointly sponsored by the Lewes Chamber of Commerce and Lewes in Bloom and takes place throughout the "First Town in the First State."
More than 100 varieties of tulips will be on display this year and can be found by referencing the event map here.
In addition to checking out the colorful tulips at 20 separate locations throughout the downtown area, there will also be a tulip sale on April 7-8 at the the Bank Street Plaza on Second Street and "History in Bloom Walking Tours" on April 1-2, as well as other scheduled events.

302 Beer Drinkers' Choice Awards (April 2)
This fun event takes place at the Crooked Hammock Brewery in Lewes from 12 until 4 p.m., on Sunday, April 2.
Attendees will receive samples from more than 30 Delaware-based breweries and will vote for their favorites in several categories, including "Fan Favorite Beer," "Most Unique Brew," "Best Brewery Costume" and several others.
If you have a ticket, you get a vote! Tickets for the event are $55 and is open to patrons 21 and older..

Schellville Easter Eggstravaganza (April 1 and 8)
Schellville will again be party central over the next few days as the fun event center will be holding a special Easter-themed event on both Saturday, April 1 and Saturday, April 8.
Scheduled events and activities during daytime hours include balloon creations, face painting, appearances by the Easter Bunny, a sled hill and egg decorating.
For the adults in the evenings, there will be beer and wine choices on-site, as well as food trucks and live music.
Daytime hours are from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., and evening hours are scheduled for 5 to 9 p.m.
