The free Concerts by the Canal series continues its sixth season with the crowd-pleasing Mike Hines and The Look. The band returns to Lewes Canalfront Park by popular demand on Thursday July 20 for a 7:00 pm performance. The park is located at 211 Front Street in Historic Lewes. This event is free and made possible through support of Friends of Lewes Canalfront Park and Dogfish Head Craft Brewery. Returning for their third performance in the park, Mike Hines and the Look is a high energy band that plays rhythm and blues, hip hop, pop, old school funk; along with a taste of Motown and disco. Popular in the local scene they are the ultimate dance band, when they play, no one sits down. Mike Hines (aka “The King of Fun”) and The Look deliver an exciting experience and gets the crowd involved in the fun. Members of the military, past and present, are extended a special invitation to attend as, in addition to the performance, they will be recognized for their service before the concert begins at 7 pm. Bring your blanket or lawn chair, and maybe a picnic supper for a fun, free Concert by the Canal this summer. Other concerts this summer feature The Plate Scrapers on August 3 and The Clifford Keith Band on August 31
