Lynwood T. ‘Tommy’ Kelley Jr., body shop manager
Lynwood T. ‘Tommy’ Kelley Jr. of Lewes passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at Cadia Renaissance after a long illness. He was born in Parksley, Va., March 17, 1941, the son of the late Lynwood T. Kelley Sr. and Irene Bull Kelley.
He was a proud Irishman, a former Boy Scout and Boy Scout leader, member of the Georgetown Jaycees as treasurer and a Mason at the Lewes lodge. Tommy was the body shop manager at Burton Chevy in Georgetown. He passionately loved boating, fishing, cruises and dancing. Tommy was always ready to travel and dance.
Tommy is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Patricia Hill Kelley; his children, Kristine Sizemore and M. Ed Kelley; his three grandchildren, Jamie Kelley, Kassy and Abby Sizemore; two great-granddaughters, Myshaylah and Aris; his sister, Ethel ‘Lu’ Porter; Lu’s children, Gene Kelly and Carlyn; and Lu’s two grandchildren, Jennelle and Sara.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Interment will be private.
