‘God of Carnage’ to open Possum Point Players 2025 season

Possum Point Players announced show dates for “God of Carnage,” its 2025 season opener, will be Friday, Jan. 31, Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 1 and 2, and Friday to Sunday, Feb. 7 to 9.
Friday and Saturday shows begin at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday matinees start at 2 p.m.
A dark comedy, "God of Carnage" showcases two reasonable, modern-parenting couples who are brought together to diplomatically discuss a schoolyard fracas between their sons. Civilized adult discussion takes a turn as the blame game is fueled by some harsh words, some name-calling and maybe even some underlying, pent-up relationship issues.
