‘Pride and Prejudice’ play to open at Cape High Nov. 16

Cape Henlopen High School recently announced details of its upcoming production of the timeless classic, "Pride and Prejudice."

This captivating and beloved play, based on Jane Austen's novel, will be brought to life by talented theatre students for the enjoyment of the entire community.

Performances will take place at 7 p.m., Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 16, 17 and 18. An encore performance will take place at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 19.

Set in the elegant world of Regency-era England, "Pride and Prejudice" tells the story of the spirited Elizabeth Bennet and her complex interactions with the mysterious Mr. Darcy. The play beautifully explores themes of love, class and the enduring power of personal character.

Cape High’s production promises to be a visually stunning and emotionally engaging experience. The talented cast and crew have worked tirelessly to bring the charm and wit of Austen's novel to life on stage.
