Accent on Travel hosts Strawberry Soiree

Accent On Travel, a business specializing in helping customers plan their dream getaways, held its second annual Strawberry Soiree June 4 at the office on Rehoboth Avenue Extd. Annette Nero Stellhorn, co-owner of the business with her husband, Rick, started the tradition.

“I grew up picking and harvesting strawberries on a 30-acre farm, and we wanted to recreate my family’s annual strawberry party here for our valuable clients and our business,” she said. “It’s a way we say thank you to our better clients,” said Rick.

The soiree featured a homemade strawberry shortcake, strawberry soup and strawberry champagne for guests and employees, as well as live music from guitarist Paul Cullen. During her lifetime, Annette has had the fortune to travel around the world herself, and has visited every continent. Now, with Accent on Travel having connections with more than 200 cruise companies, over 400 tour companies, and work in over 92 countries worldwide, there is something to celebrate.

“These guys are terrific. They’re absolutely wonderful,” said client Bill McGinnis.
