Addiction treatment grant applications due Aug. 31
The Next Generation of Southern Delaware, a giving circle of the Delaware Community Foundation, announces the opening of its 2021 grant application cycle.
Nonprofit organizations serving both Sussex and Kent counties are eligible to apply for grant funds through Tuesday, Aug. 31. Next Gen South currently concentrates grant funding toward addiction treatment and family support services, specifically centered around both treatment and prevention initiatives.
During the 2020 grant cycle, $15,000 was awarded and split between Zoë Inc. and Love Inc. of Mid-Delmarva, whose missions and direction most closely aligned with the organization's criteria and focus.
Next Gen South is a philanthropic organization that was created and is directed by young professionals living and working in Sussex and Kent counties. Its mission is to develop young professionals into effective nonprofit board leaders. Next Gen South board members engage in fundraising, grant making, community outreach, education and more.
