The Alpha Alpha Mu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. participated Jan. 15 in the sorority's annual MLK Day of Service.
Members collected feminine hygiene products for female residents at Home of the Brave Foundation, located on the Sussex County side of Milford. Altogether, members donated and distributed more than 900 maxi pads, 600 tampons, 1,000 panty liners and 700 feminine wipes.
Each year, the sorority tasks members to uphold its mission to be of service to all mankind.
