Alyssa Kate Wohlleben, devout Jehovah’s Witness
Alyssa Kate Wohlleben passed away Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024. She was born Nov. 17, 1979, in Freehold, N.J., to Robert and Kim Wohlleben.
She graduated from Freehold High School. Upon moving to Delaware, she went to the Harris School of Business and graduated with a diploma as a nationally certified medical assistant. She was employed at the Orthopedic Associates of Southern Delaware, and truly enjoyed her work and work associates.
Along with her father and mother, she is survived by her brother, Brian Wohlleben and his wife Nicole; twin brother, Luke Wohlleben; and her faithful companion, Chelsea, her beloved cat.
Alyssa loved all of Jehovah’s creation, and enjoyed going bird-watching and visiting gardens wherever she went. She also loved growing orchids.
As we mourn the loss of Alyssa, let us remember the beautiful memories she left behind. Her legacy of love, compassion, and laughter will forever be imprinted on our hearts. Though she may be physically gone, her spirit will continue to guide and watch over us all.
A memorial service for Alyssa will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 17, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 22300 Lewes Georgetown Hwy., Georgetown.
