American Legion Auxiliary Unit 28 recently participated in National Make a Difference Day by holding an event for the Locks of Love Foundation. Eight ponytails were donated, and the donors got cuts and new hairstyles. Gently used and new wigs were also donated to support Tunnell Cancer Center. The auxiliary, along with the donations, also sent a check for $370. Eileen Marino is shown getting Liz Loizos ready for a haircut for Locks of Love.
