To help family of Eden Cheslock
February 1, 2015

American Legion Post and Auxiliary Unit 17 invite the community to join a project to collect aluminum cans with pull tops so they can be donated to Eden Cheslock to help her family in their battle against her spinal muscular atrophy.

Aluminum cans of any kind will be collected through Feb. 15 at Post 17 in Lewes and may be dropped off in the big blue containers.

Accepting the first batch of cans Jan. 25 are in back (l-r) American Legion Post 17 family-SAL Finance Officer Tom Murray, Auxiliary Secretary Dorothy Murray, Eden's grandparents Vaughn and Jeanette Foor, Post Commander Tom Gillespie, and Auxiliary members Rose Gillespie and Auxiliary Children and Youth Chair MaryAnn McCrae. In front surrounding Eden Cheslock are her father John Cheslock, mother Nicole Cheslock and brother Pierce Cheslock, all of Dover.
