Andrew ‘Drew’ Montano III, loved teaching

Andrew "Drew" Montano III, 56, of Lewes passed away Monday, March 8, 2021, at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa.  He was born Feb. 25, 1965, in New Brunswick, N.J., son of Andrew Jr., and Geraldine K. (Banks) Montano of Lewes.

Drew loved teaching and taught at Ocean County College, N.J., and several colleges in Florida. He also enjoyed sports, animals, and spending time with his nephews. Drew had a great sense of humor and could always make you laugh. He is very much loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.            

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings: Donna Shonle and her husband Greg of Boulder, Colo., Marc Montano and his wife Susan of Oshkosh, Wis.; his aunt, Nancy Bunce and her husband John of Sewickley, Pa.; his uncle, Rob Montano and his wife Eleanor of Venice, Fla.; and his four nephews: Brandon and Ryan of Colorado and Matthew and Daniel of Wisconsin. 

All services will be private. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
