Delaware painter Andrew “Andy” Criss will host his fourth Andy’s Annual Outdoor Art Show, exhibiting more than 30 original paintings, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 19, at 19 Beacon Drive, Rehoboth Beach.
The backyard gallery event was created by Criss the first summer of the COVID pandemic as a way of exhibiting his paintings outside for safety.
“The show has now become the focus of my summer,” said Criss. “We travel throughout the year, but I always make sure I’m back in the studio by Memorial Day, getting ready for the August event. There isn’t anywhere I’d rather be except here, sketching, painting and celebrating our life in Rehoboth.”
Criss is a recipient of a Delaware Division of the Arts Established Artist Fellowship, and he has been making artwork in and about Delaware for more than 20 years. Show attendance is free and open to the public. Find more info at AndrewCriss.com.
