Angelo Charles Pantuliano Sr., proud veteran

Angelo Charles Pantuliano Sr., 77, of Lewes, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 11, 2023. He was born Oct. 10, 1945, in Wilmington, son of the late Anthony J. and Mary (Hollingsworth) Pantuliano.

Angelo was a proud veteran having honorably served in the U.S. Army National Guard. He was extremely proud to have worked on the Apollo 13 mission, the seventh crewed mission in the Apollo space program, and the third meant to land on the moon. Angelo enjoyed fishing and relaxing on the beach with friends and family. Above all, he treasured time spent with those he cherished most, especially his grandchildren, who were the apples of his eye. Angelo was a loving and caring father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. Loved by many, he will be forever missed by those who were lucky enough to know him.

In addition to his parents, Angelo was predeceased by his sister, Deborah Pantuliano (Nepa). He is survived by his children, Nancy M. Zeni (Frank), Anthony L. Pantuliano (Dianne), Angelo C. Pantuliano Jr. and Nichole M. Pantuliano; his grandchildren, Steven, Chelsea, Frankie, Sara and Vincent; his great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly; his brother, David Pantuliano (Lisa); and his sisters: Frances Gray (Ronnie) and Sarah Dillon.

A celebration of life will be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, June 20, at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Hwy., Lewes, where friends and family may visit beginning at 5 p.m.
