Atracare Mental Health welcomes new provider

Atracare recently announced Patricia Conolly, PMHNP-BC, has joined its mental health department as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. 

Originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia, Conolly attended Pennsylvania State University, where she obtained a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She worked in various areas of nursing but found her passion in the mental health field, which led her to pursue a master of science degree in nursing as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.

As a nurse practitioner, Conolly said she believes in a holistic approach for her patients. She aims to provide individualized care by taking into account all aspects of her patients’ lives. Conolly offers a compassionate and nonjudgmental environment as she works alongside individuals in their journey to improved mental health. She is determined to support people in getting where they want to be in life by utilizing a solution-focused approach to treatment that emphases setting measurable goals.

Away from work, she prioritizes spending time with her family and her adorable dog Remi, especially relaxing on the beach.
