Lewes readers Dr. Jerry Hildebrand and his wife, Susan had the amazing opportunity to attend the 124th U.S. Open Championship at Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, N.C. Pinehurst Course No. 2 has served more championship tournaments than any other golf course in America. Not only was it fun being able to attend this great event, but Jerry and Susan also welcomed the opportunity to meet up with Jerry’s sister, Lynn Barnhart, pictured on the right, who just happens to live in Pinehurst. While in North Carolina, they also enjoyed visiting with several other local relatives and longtime friends during the week-long excursion. A great time was had by all!
