Author talk with Liz Moore set Aug. 22

August 16, 2024

Bestselling author Liz Moore will join the Lewes Public Library and Browseabout Books for a discussion and signing of her new novel, “The God of the Woods,” at 5 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 22, at the library, 111 Adams Ave., Lewes. The event will also stream live online via Zoom.

Moore will be joined in conversation by Rehoboth’s Ethan Joella, author of “A Little Hope,” “A Quiet Life” and “The Same Bright Stars.”

“The God of the Woods” follows the frantic search for a missing child whose disappearance sends shock waves through three very different worlds: an opulent Adirondack summer estate, the rustic teen summer camp that operates in its shadow, and the blue-collar community that serves them both. Moore’s tale of love, inheritance, identity and second chances is a gripping, layered drama about the tensions between family and community – and the secrets that will not let any of them go.

Registration is required, and participants will be asked to select virtual or in-person attendance when registering. To sign up, go to lewes.lib.de.us. Books will be available for purchase at the event.
