The Village Improvement Association of Rehoboth Beach has awarded scholarships to first-year Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing students Hannah Collins of Millsboro and Nicholas Vitella of Georgetown.
A member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, the VIA sponsors the Mildred Gray Scholarship for students at the Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing at Beebe Healthcare each year.
This award is presented to students who are residents of Sussex County, have at least a B average in nursing courses, and have demonstrated financial need. On hand to present the scholarship awards were Kate McKenzie, VIA president; Carole Suchanek, VIA scholarship chair; and Rose Marie Patin, VIA advanced nursing scholarships chair.
