Barbershop chorus serenades to sweethearts

The Southern Delaware Nautical Sounds Barbershop Chorus began its annual tradition of singing Valentines during a Feb. 13 stop at Milton Elementary School. For $40, a quartet travels to the home or place of business of the object of the sender’s affections and presents a long-stemmed rose, a Valentine card and two songs. Proceeds from the program allow the chorus to participate in sing-outs at various locations and local charitable events.
