Barnes & Noble is coming to Tanger Outlets Seaside.
According to outlet management, the new bookstore is slated to open in the fall and will be located in the former Brooks Brothers space near Abercrombie & Fitch.
Janine Flanigan, Barnes & Noble store planning and design senior director, said the company will be opening the 8,700-square-foot store in September. The store will showcase the company’s new bookstore design, housing all the best books, toys, games and gifts that customers have come to expect, she said.
“Barnes & Noble has been expanding, and it’s been incredibly exciting to open new bookstores across the country,” said Flanigan in an email June 18.
When it does open, Flanigan said, it will be the third Barnes & Noble in Delaware. The closest is actually in Salisbury, Md. According to Barnes & Noble, there are 600 stores across the country.
