Beach Babies celebrates Delaware Stars five-star rating with ribbon cutting

October 18, 2015

Beach Babies Childcare announced that it has been awarded a five-star rating through the Delaware Stars program. Delaware Stars is a quality assurance rating that promotes high-quality early learning for young children and guides families seeking the best program for their child. The program is established through the Office of Early Learning in the State of Delaware. The Delaware Stars rating system is used to determine the quality of education and other services a facility provides.

Beach Babies Childcare is also celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2015. The company continues to offer a creative curriculum that makes learning exciting and relevant for every child and appropriate hands-on activities that support active learning and promote children’s progress in all developmental areas. Staff record each child’s developmental milestones and keep confidential records for parents throughout a child’s enrolment. They provide children with a nutritionally balanced breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack approved by the Child and Adult Food Program.

Beach Babies classrooms include learning centers where students can explore, and enhance their social, emotional, cognitive and physical development. Classrooms include additional age-appropriate activities for children ages 2 and above including Zumba, Spanish (or another language), music, jump bunch or Kid Fit.

The buildings are state-of-the-art facilities, professionally cleaned, with cameras located throughout the centers and playgrounds for observation. Beach Babies follows safety protocols including practicing fire and lock-down drills. They also utilize a one-call notification system that will alert parents to any center emergency or vital information through text or phone call.
