The beach has been cheap fun for kids forever

This 1934 picture post card from Rehoboth Beach demonstrates why people - dating back to Native Americans looking for cooler summer breezes - have been coming to the beach.  Where else can children of all ages play in the sand and surf all day and have a good time for very little cost?
